Defender. Former England Under 21 Internaional who started his career at Arsenal making his debut in a 1-0 defeat away to Manchester United, 55 league appearances followed in 7 seasons but he found his appearances limited in the late 1980’s with the form of England international Tony Adams, that he initially moved from Highbury with loan spells at Queen’s Park Rangers and Bristol City before a £75,000 move to Bristol City in 1991. A similar transfer fee took him north to Airdrieonains a year later, helping the Diamonds to the Scottish Cup Final and qualifying for the UEFA Cup. He moved from Broomfield to Colchester United in 1994. He signed for conference side Dagenham & Redbridge in 1996 and moved to Hong Kong after making only 5 appearances. In August 1997 with Thistle short of players newly installed Jags manager John McVeigh (former Airdrie assistant Manager), brought him back to Scotland with Thistle, but his Jags career lasted only 45 minutes in a 2-2 draw with Ayr United at Somerset Park. He returned to Hong Kong and has seen service with Kitchee, Hong Kong Rangers & Fuckie.
