BINNIE, Alexander
born. 1905, Kilsyth
Goalkeeper. The Kilsyth miner came to Partick Thistle from Kilsyth Rangers in May 1924. Alex was mainly used as a reserve to Joe Ramsay in season 1924-25 & 25-26. He was given an extended run in the side playing in the last 6 games of 25-26 conceding 12 goals. He moved to Port Vale in May 1926, but returned north to 1st Division Hamilton Accies soon after where he remained until being made open to transfer in 1929.
