Outside-left. Signed from Glasgow Perthshire, all six appearances for Partick Thistle came in the 1st division during the opening months of season 1897-98. Upon leaving Meadowside he headed south of the Clyde and signed for Linthouse. In 1899 he moved to Belfast Celtic, this was followed by spells at Linfield (joined June 1900), Glentoran and Ayr before he emigrated to America.
