ADAMS, Thomas
A right-back signed from Queen’s Park who made his Partick Thistle debut in a 3-1 defeat to Hibernian at Easter Road, Tom would go on play over 200 games for the Jags as first choice right half-back until the arrival of Walter Borthwick in 1918. He played in 3 Glasgow Cup finals ending up the loser in every one 1915-16, 1917-18 & 1919-20. He also added a Glasgow Charity Cup runner up medal to his collection in 1917-18. His last appearance for Thistle came in a 2-1 defeat at Dundee. the following season Thistle made him open to transfer and before his former teammates’ lifted the Scottish Cup at Celtic Park, he had moved to Broxburn United, where he continued for a few seasons.
