Bio:
Outside-Left or Forward. Signed for now homeless Partick Thistle from Clydebank Juniors in 1908, making his Jags debut in February 1909 in a 7-1 defeat at Cathkin Park to Third Lanark. He was primary a outside-left in his first few seasons at Thistle, but he still managed to get amongst the goals, he was switched to centre forward in season 1912-13 and he managed to be top scorer with 19 goals. He managed to earn two pieces of silverware during his time at Firhill coming in 1914 Glasgow Cup Runners- Up medal and 1916 a Glasgow Charity Cup Runner’s Up medal. In between the medals Frank had a spell away from Thistle signing for Vale of Leven and also making 7 appearances for Rangers scoring 5 goals. He left Glasgow in January 1917 to support the war effort by going to Woolwich to work in munitions. The player simply known as Frank by the Firhill fans made one last appearance at Firhill playing for Dunkeld and Birnham in the Scottish Cup 1st Round in 1924. Thistle won 11-0.

He was also represented the Scottish league on two occasions a 3-2 win over the Southern League in October 1911 and a 2-1 victory over the Irish league in Belfast.
