CAMERON, Ian

Young midfielder who signed for Thistle from Partick Thistle boys club in 2004. He was instantly compared to his father Ian who also played in Midfield for Thistle. He represented Scotland at Under 16 level, but his progress was halted as Thistle slid into the second division and disbanded the youth set up to save costs. Not playing regular football affected his form and he soon left Firhill in 2006. He played briefly for the Airdrie United youth team before moving to the USA on a scholarship.
