BUSBY, Charles
born Caldercruix, Lanarkshire
Right-Half. Joined Partick Thistle in March 1935 from Shotts United, and after a short time playing in for the 2nd XI in the Scottish Alliance made his first team debut the following November in a one each draw with Celtic in Glasgow’s East end. A steady right-half who would go on to make just under 100 appearances for Thistle, in a career that was badly affected by the 2nd World War.
His contract was cancelled in May 1942.
