AYTON, Stuart

A product of Rangers boys club who was released by the Ibrox club in 1994. He signed for Partick Thistle in July 1994 and was a regular in the reserve team that finished 4th in the league. He impressed enough to make his league debut against his former club on the last day of the season in a 1-1 draw. The following two season he never made the breakthrough into a first team regular. After his release he signed for Rutherglen Glencairn where he remained for 7 seasons.
