Canadian International forward who played for Partick Thistle during the pre-season tour on Northern Ireland in 1994. The former Luton Town striker played in all 3 wins in the province but didn’t do enough to convince manager Lambie to offer him a contract.
He returned to England after his failed trial and signed for 3rd Division Chester City, he failed to make a impact there and returned home to the Vancouver 86ers. In 1996 the Major League Soccer League was launched in North America, he signed up for New England Revolution, in his first season he helped them finish 5th in the eastern conference, the following season they went one better. He returned to England with Stockport County but returned to North America after only 1 appearance. He then played for Seattle Sounders converting from striker to right-back. A move back to the MLS with D.C. United saw him win 2 honours in his first season with the club – the CONCACAF Champions’ Cup and the Interamerican Cup. In 2001 he moved to Colorado Rapids as player-coach. He was capped for Canada v China in 1992, and he went on to earn another 43 caps, scoring 4 goals.
